34 Verses of the Bible about Healing

A man stands in celebration in front of his wheelchair.

The Bible has a lot to say about healing. In fact, there are arguably hundreds of healing scriptures that specifically mention physical or spiritual healing. This shows us that God is wholly interested in our well-being and wants us to be healthy.

  • In the Old Testament, we see God healing people time and time again. He healed the sick, the blind, the lame, and even raised the dead.
  • In the New Testament, Jesus continued this trend of healing people from their ailments. He healed lepers, the blind, and the deaf. He even raised Lazarus from the dead.

But what about spiritual healing? The Bible is clear that there is no one who is perfect, except for God himself. We all fall short of his glory. Because of this, we need spiritual healing. And there is only one source of true spiritual healing: Jesus Christ. Through his death on the cross, Jesus paid the price for our sins. He took our place so that we could be forgiven and have eternal life.

The Bible is clear that Jesus is the ultimate Healer. He has the power to heal both physically and spiritually. If we put our faith in Him, He will do amazing things in our lives!

We hope these healing Bible verses will encourage you to turn to Jesus Christ. For he is our savior and there is no greater healing than through the only one who can forgive sins and offer everlasting life.
