Easter Bible Verses about Jesus as the One and Only Son

As the Son of God, Jesus is the one and only pathway to salvation. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, and His resurrection offers us the hope of eternal life. He is Christ Jesus, the anointed one foretold in the Bible.

Easter Bible Verses about the Cross and Jesus’ Crucifixion

Easter Bible Verses about Sacrifice

God raised a perfect man in Christ Jesus but he was always going to be “our Passover lamb.” In his last moments, Jesus reaches out with a loud voice, “Father” he exclaims, entrusting His spirit to God before a nearby centurion praised God and said “Surely this was a righteous man.” Jesus died on the cross to take away our sins and rose again, defeating death. This is what Easter is all about and it is a great mercy for us to have this escape from sin.

Mary the mother comes to the place where they laid Him and learns of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Raising Christ from the dead is the core tenant of the Christian faith, the purpose for celebrating Easter Sunday, and a great hope through the resurrection. Looking for Jesus, Mary finds him and embraces him.

Jesus gathers all the apostles after being raised from the dead and they are all gifted with the ability to speak many different languages, ushering in the Christian era.

Easter Bible Verses about Being Saved

Jesus answered the call, became Christ Jesus who died for the remission of our sins, and was raised from the dead. Now we must too answer the call. After learning of the resurrection and the life of Jesus, it is only through him that we can be saved. Easter is the perfect time to reflect on the saving grace of Jesus Christ and bring yourself closer to him.
